President
Devanga Fonseka
Hi everyone! My name is Devanga Fonseka and I transferred to UCI from Mt. San Antonio College. I'm currently a 4th year double major in Business Administration and Korean Literature & Culture. It is my absolute honor to be your President for the upcoming year! I loved my time in Tau Sigma so far and hope to bring you a welcoming experience! Some of my involvements include being a part of the Campuswide Honors Program, a SAGE Scholar, and working at the Paul Merage School of Business. Thanks for reading and I look forward to a great year with you all!!

Alex Wall
Hi friends! My name is Alex Wall and I’m so excited to be your Tau Sigma Vice President for the upcoming year! I transferred from Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa and am a 4th year Psychology major. Some of my campus involvements include being a research assistant for the Science of Learning Lab and participating in the Campuswide Honors Program. I’m really looking forward to building our transfer community and having a fun year, even if that means only seeing y’all virtually!

Director of Records
Winston Hibler
Hi everyone! My name is Winston Hibler and I’ll be serving as your Director of Records for this upcoming year. I transferred from Pasadena City College last Fall, and this year I’ll be a 4th year pre-med Pharmaceutical Science major. My campus involvements include being a part of ASUCI in both SHIAC and the Academic Advocacy Commission, a Regents’ Scholar, participation in the Campuswide Honors Program, and conducting independent research at the School of Medicine through both UROP and SURP concurrently.
Fun fact about me: I’m planning to travel halfway across the world within the next few years for the sole purpose of pursuing a legendary sandwich.

Hey everybody!! My name is Mariah Sharp & I’m so excited to be your Tau Sigma Events Coordinator for the upcoming year! I transferred from Santa Monica College and I'm a 4th year double majoring in Anthropology and Biological Sciences! Some of my campus involvements include being a member of Pre-Dental Society. I can’t wait to meet you all (virtually for now), and feel free to reach out to me about academics, extracurriculars, or to just be friends!

Community Service Coordinator
Sarah Batarseh
Hey everyone! My name is Sarah Batarseh and I’m so excited to be your Tau Sigma Community Service Coordinator this year! I transferred from El Camino Community College, and I’m a 4th year Biological Sciences major! As for campus wide involvements, I am a part of Dr. Brandon Gaut’s Ecology and Evolution lab, under the Minority Science Program. I am also a volunteer for Math CEO and a Regents’ scholar. Membership Director
Jose Vasquez
Hello Everyone! My name is Jose Vasquez and I am excited to be serving as the Membership Director for Tau Sigma 2020-2021. I transferred to UCI from El Camino College and Compton Community College. I'm currently a 4th year Neurobiology major and Psychological Sciences minor with the goal of obtaining an MD/Ph.D. Some of my on-campus involvements include being a Regents' Scholar, a Neuroscholar, a Transfer Peer Mentor for the Campuswide Honors Collegium, Co-Chair of MAPS (the Minority Association for Pre-Health Students), a Bio Sci Peer Mentor for Human Physiology, and I am an undergraduate research assistant in a Neurobio lab for the Department of Physiology and Biophysics at the School of Medicine. I look forward to meeting all of you and an amazing year together!
Fun Fact: I was a drug-dealer for 8 and a half years. I worked as a Pharmacy Technician. (Got you didn’t I?)
